It is with deep sadness that we must tell you that John Huisman went home to be with the Lord early this morning. Please pray for his son, Johnny, and his sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Tony Cascone as well as the rest of their family.
Although the details are not yet known, we do know that John was at home and that his passing was sudden and unexpected.
John was a member of Oak River from the day of our very first service. He was there early every Sunday morning and always helped out - from setting up the church to making coffee to folding bulletins. Whatever needed to be done, John was there to take care of it. John was always encouraging & he sure loved to joke around. He will be deeply missed by all of us.
